Led by trained facilitators, this program delves into the rites of passage (known as samskara), as well as the significance of sound, energy, mantras, emotions, and the mind - all deeply entrenched in Vedic wisdom.

Samskaras
​
Prenatal Samskaras
1. Garbhadhana – In this ritual the couple with pure intent, invoke the blessings of almighty to conceive and have a divine child who will be a blessing to its family and society.
​
2. Pumsavana – This ritual is performed for getting a healthy baby. Usually conducted after the first trimester, the focus is on the physical, mental and complete healthy development of the child.
​
3. Simantonnayana - The father performs this ritual in the third trimester for the healthy growth of the child and safe delivery, and well being of the mother.
​
Childhood Samskaras
1. Jatakarma – This is the first ceremony after the birth of the child, welcoming the baby into this world. It reaffirms the sole purpose of parents in their new role and reminds the soul of its spiritual goal.

2. Namakarana – The naming ceremony is the fifth and one of the most important Samskaras, conducted on the 11th or 12th day after the birth of the child. Following astrological rules a meaningful name is given to the child which will have a powerful influence on his/her personality.

3. Nishkrama – This is the first outing for the newborn on the 40th day after birth and usually to a temple.
​
4. Annaprashan – Around the 6th/7th month the baby is first introduced to solid cooked food.
​
5.Chudakarma – This ritual also called as Mundan meaning the shaving of the birth hair and it signifies erasing the effects of past karmas.
6.Karnavedh – Piercing the ears is done to protect the child from diseases and to ascertain that the child listens to divine words.

Educational Samskaras
1. Upanayana – This is the sacred thread ceremony meaning bringing the child closer to the Guru.
​
2. Vidyarambha – Initiation to the world of education on a special day so it brings good fortune and success.
​
3. Vedarambham – Initiation into the formal study of the Vedas and scriptures.
​
4. Keshant – This is the first shaving of the student’s beard around the age of 16.
​
5. Samavartan – This is the graduation ceremony marking the completion of education and signifies the person’s readiness for the next phase of life.
